I’ve Been Used

DSC_1287_3150 Hot Mess only comes around sporadically now.  That’s okay.  This evening on my walk around the neighborhood, I spotted Hot Mess.  He was cruising up the street.  I tailed him to see where he was hanging out.  He scored.  He scored big time.  He’s hanging out at the cat lady’s house up the street.  Oh, there’s a couple of houses in the neighborhood that could be a cat house.  This one is at least occupied by a clean animal lover.  Hot Mess will blend in with all the other cats that hang out under the year round holiday lights on the front porch.

Spurned! What a cat.

I'm glad he found a home - glad you were there for him in a pinch. You are probably well rid of a tough, vet-bill-generating cat, anyway!

Thanks for your kind words about my little tumble. If you need a photo of a blue bin, you can use mine, if you like.

Thanks, g; but seeing the recycle bin in front of this neglected property is something I hope to capture one day.

Now I'm intrigued by the hoarder's house....

Poor kitty - we had a white tom turn up when I was in high school that reminds me of this one, beaten within an inch of his life, we thought he'd lost an eye. We took him to the vet, had him fixed and fixed up, and he turned out to be one of the best cats ever. I'm glad yours found his place, even if he was a tad ungrateful. Be well!
