I'm still in my grungy clothes from this morning because I don't have to look presentable. It's just me and the dog hanging out. We went for a long walk this morning before it got too hot. He wore himself out digging for gophers while I did most of the walking. When we got back he hit the shower (hose) and I gave him a bath. He actually stood there and wanted me to keep going just to keep him cool I suppose. Then I started irrigating and noticed the windows were disgusting. I enjoy clean windows; so I took on the job. My dog had cooled down enough to have his late breakfast (roasted chicken & Eukanuba). Laundring rags and rugs went on while I puttered around the house. I know it's still housework; but I enjoy it so much more when I'm doing it at my pace and however I want. I never notice my neighbors cleaning their windows. I wonder if they ever do. How often to you clean your windows?

Found your blog via pioneerwoman.com - I too love being alone with the animals. We don't have kids, but it's nice to get away from the hubby at times. And to do things at my own pace. As for window washing, I hate that. But it's on my to do list for the summer. Well, not so much the actual windows, but to repaint the trim and everything around the windows. So yeah, I'll probably wash them too while I'm at it.
I like that you keep things short and to the point! I tend to drone on and on and end up digressing all over the place on my blog.
I love clean windows. I always do them in the spring and the fall. And because I love them clean, I do them a couple of other times, too.
